Ordering Online

Do you have any warranties on shipped livestock?
Even though all of our livestock is held to the utmost quality, and even though we do not sell livestock that we receive until they are clean and clear of parasites, eating, and have been with us for at a minimum of one month.  We cannot verify that the tank the livestock is destined for is held at the same quality.  We cannot verify that the shipment of the livestock did not stress the livestock.  We only offer actual pictures of the livestock for sale, with a professional grade camera so that every detail is captured, we will provide additional images upon request, and we even provide images of the livestock eating. Therefore we cannot offer any warranties for the livestock purchased and shipped over the internet.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
We cannot offer any returns or exchanges on livestock purchased over the internet.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal, or you can call and order direct with a credit card (Master Card, VISA, Discover)

Can I call and inquire about a specific specimen?
Of course, our store ours are 10a-7p EST, our number is (704) 535-8111. We have instant email access so your emails will be responded to within a few hours of the email.

What form of shipping do you use?

What is your method of shipping?
All specimens will be shipped in a Styrofoam box, size depending on the specimen.  We provide the cleanest possible water for the specimen’s comfort; we do not add any ‘calming’ chemicals.  The specimen’s bag will be inflated with air and secured tightly.

When are you shipping days?
We gather all of our orders and ship all order on Monday’s of every week.  We do offer express shipments for instant arrival; this has no additional cost, but can only be made upon request.

Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order at anytime so long as the livestock has not been shipped.  After the livestock has been shipped no refunds can be made.

When will i know my order has been shipped?
We will give you an email notification or phone call (upon request) to inform you that your livestock has been shipped.  Tracking numbers will be proved in the email.

Do you ever do Substitutions?
No, we do not substitute any livestock in the order.  If we don’t have what you want, we will not ship you any ‘replacements’.  All livestock on Nemo Fish is ‘What you see is what you get’

What exactly is the availability of the livestock?
We receive livestock every week, both for our inshore sales, and online sales.  Our galleries and livestock pages will be updated every week with new livestock.  Ordered livestock will be removed daily.

Do you sell tanks and dry goods?
Yes, we do offer tanks and dry goods, any products that we do not already carry in store can be ordered.

What free services do you offer?
We offer free water tests, small amounts of ph buffer (if needed) and tank consultation.

Do you offer maintenance?
Yes we do offer maintenance for both commercial and residential clients. Please call (704) 535-8111 for additional details

What is your warranty on local orders?
We offer returns for all livestock for up to three days, and exchanges for up to five days.  Water test is required.

Do you drill tanks?
Yes, we drill tanks for clients.  Please call (704) 535-8111 for additional details

Do you offer premixed saltwater and RO?
Yes, our Saltwater is mixed with Instant Ocean with multiple additives measured precisely to maintain the appropriate elemental levels. This is $1 per gallon.
Our RO water is made and has been standing for at least 24 hours. This is $.50 per gallon.

Will you feed the livestock before I buy?
Yes, we will feed the livestock before you buy, request or not.

General

How often do you receive shipments?
We receive almost daily shipments of fish, coral, invertebrates, and dry goods.  Stock lists will be weekly.

Do you quarantine?
Yes, our fish are kept in quarantine for a minimum of one week, and will be moved to our display tanks when they are cleaned and eating.

Do you use medication?
Only in quarantine, our displays will not be treated with medication.  Our displays are a parasite and pest free environment
